How we handle your personal data when you write to us, call us or use our contact form.

This privacy policy has been drawn up in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), and Spanish Organic Act 3/2018 of 5 December on the Protection of Personal Data and Guarantee of Digital Rights (LOPDGDD).

2. What data we process and for what purpose

Contact form and quotation requests

We collect the name, telephone number, email address, service of interest and description of the work that you provide. The purpose is to respond to your enquiry, prepare the requested quotation and maintain the contact necessary to provide the service.

Communications by telephone, WhatsApp or email

If you write or call us, we process the identifying and contact details you provide, together with the content of the communication, for the sole purpose of replying to and handling your request.

Browsing the website

We process technical browsing data by means of cookies, as set out in the cookie policy.

3. Legal basis for processing

  • Consent of the data subject (art. 6.1.a GDPR) for handling enquiries and quotation requests submitted voluntarily, and for non-essential cookies.
  • Performance of a contract or pre-contractual measures (art. 6.1.b GDPR) for preparing quotations and providing the contracted services.
  • Compliance with legal obligations (art. 6.1.c GDPR) in tax and accounting matters and in the certification of electrical installations.
  • Legitimate interest (art. 6.1.f GDPR) in ensuring the security of the website and preventing fraudulent use.

4. Retention period

Data from enquiries that do not lead to a contract is retained for a maximum of one year from the last contact. Customer data is retained for the duration of the relationship and thereafter for the periods required by law: six years for accounting and commercial obligations (art. 30 of the Spanish Commercial Code) and four years for tax obligations, together with the periods applicable to liability for the work carried out.

5. Recipients of the data

Data is not disclosed to third parties except where required by law. It may be necessary to communicate certain data to:

  • Public authorities and competent bodies, where the work requires the registration of an electrical installation certificate.
  • Electricity distribution and supply companies, where this is essential in order to arrange new supplies or changes on the customer’s behalf.
  • Accounting and tax advisers, for compliance with legal obligations.
  • Technology service providers (web hosting and email) acting as data processors under a contract signed in accordance with article 28 GDPR.

No international transfers of data outside the European Economic Area take place, other than those which may arise from the use of the third-party services described in the cookie policy, which where applicable are subject to appropriate safeguards.

6. Your rights

You may exercise the following rights at any time:

  • Access: to know what data of yours we are processing.
  • Rectification: to correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
  • Erasure: to request deletion of your data when it is no longer necessary.
  • Objection: to object to processing based on legitimate interest.
  • Restriction: to request that processing be restricted in the cases provided for.
  • Portability: to receive your data in a structured, commonly used format.
  • Withdrawal of consent given, at any time and without retroactive effect.

If you consider that the processing does not comply with the applicable rules, you may lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (C/ Jorge Juan, 6, 28001 Madrid — www.aepd.es).

7. Data security

We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures to ensure a level of security appropriate to the risk, including encryption of website communications by means of an SSL certificate, access control and the taking of backups.

8. Accuracy of the data

The user warrants that the data provided is true, accurate and up to date, and undertakes to notify any change. If you provide third-party data, you must previously have informed those persons of the content of this policy.

9. Minors

The services of this website are aimed at persons over 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect data relating to minors.

10. Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated to reflect changes in the law or in the way our services are provided. We recommend reviewing it periodically.
