We change your lighting to LED technology and adjust the installation so the bill actually comes down, not just in the manufacturer’s brochure.
An equivalent LED fitting typically consumes between a fifth and a tenth of what a halogen or an old fluorescent uses. In a home the saving is noticeable; in premises with the lights on twelve hours a day, the change pays for itself in a matter of months.
That said, the saving depends on the hours of use. If you have three bulbs you switch on for twenty minutes a day, changing them is not going to fix your bill. We will tell you frankly where it is worth it and where it is not.
The price difference between a cheap downlight from a DIY shed and a branded one is not in the light it gives on day one, but in the light it gives three years later. These are the things we look at when choosing:
Efficiency is not just the type of lamp. Matching your contracted power to what you actually use, splitting circuits so you do not light the whole unit when you are working in one corner, fitting presence detectors in corridors and garages, or setting schedules on outdoor lighting, has as much impact as the switch to LED itself.

Common questions
In many cases yes, simply swapping the bulb. Problems appear with old lamp holders, with halogen transformers that are not compatible, and with circuits on a dimmer. There the installation or the fitting has to be adapted or the flicker is constant.
Branded ones are rated at between 30,000 and 50,000 hours before losing 30% of their light output. In domestic use that is many years. In cheap fittings the reality tends to fall well short, and it is almost always the driver that fails before the LED itself.
In residential blocks they are among the quickest things to pay for themselves. Stairwell and garage lighting is usually the largest communal consumption, and with detectors it only comes on when somebody passes. It also puts an end to complaints about timers being too short.
Yes. We look at what you have connected and what power you actually draw at peak. If there is room, we process the reduction and issue the certificate if the supplier asks for it. It is one of the few things that lowers the bill every month without changing your habits.
